The snow at the gap tends to be more consolidated due to shadowing from the ridge above, not getting direct sunlight until close to noon. This product includes a real time transit of the workaround, filmed from a helmet cam and a stationary camera from below, showing how to get around the Gap in a safe manner. Digging into the video archives, footage also includes transits from different years including no snow, glissading the gap, a full moon above- cloud transit, mountain goats, and other interesting and pertinent video.
